(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent one woman to the hospital.
Investigators say they responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of East St. Germain Street just before 2:00 a.m. Sunday. They found a 49-year-old woman who had been shot in the hip. She was taken to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital for treatment. Police say the gun was recovered from the scene, and the shooting appears to be accidental.
The investigation is ongoing.
