St. Cloud Man Sentenced For Selling Methamphetamine

(KNSI) – A St. Cloud man has been sentenced for selling methamphetamine in St. Cloud and Onamia.

Daniel Joseph McNinch pleaded guilty in September to 1st-degree drug sales and was sentenced to 8 and a half years in prison on Monday. The 48-year-old was given credit for nearly six months in jail.

A criminal complaint says the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force found McNinch sold meth from his home in the 1300-block of 9th Avenue North in St. Cloud and from another house in Onamia. Authorities say McNinch was receiving “wholesale” quantities of meth by mail, and a confidential informant purchased meth several times earlier this year.

A search of his home and vehicles revealed more than three pounds of meth, packaging materials, cash, cell phones, ammunition, and three guns, one of which had been stolen, authorities say.
