(KNSI) – Ambulances always have precious cargo, but they aren’t usually known for carrying holiday cheer.

On Friday, CentraCare is hoping to change that. The healthcare group is hosting a Stuff the Ambulance Toy Drive at six locations, including Monticello, Paynesville, and Willmar in central Minnesota.

Toys collected at each site will stay in that community and be handed out by an area nonprofit or social services later in December. An advance drop-off is available at the local CentraCare clinic or hospital for those who cannot make it between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. There is also an option to give a monetary donation online.

An ambulance will be parked in front of Fleet Farm in Monticello, the Paynesville DQ, and Uptown Willmar, formerly the Kandi Mall. More information for all six events is available here.
