(KNSI) — St. Cloud’s Fulfillment Distribution Center is on the brink of closure, resulting in a potential layoff of 350 employees.
The news comes after FDC’s sole client, Publishers Clearing House, decided to discontinue its mail-order business. PCH is known for its sweepstakes promotions and has announced job cuts at its facility in New York as the company moves away from physical direct mailings.
Requests for comment have not been successful, but operators do say they are trying to find a new client to keep the business afloat. If that doesn’t happen, layoffs will be completed by October 31st.
