(KNSI) – Two children from St. Cloud were hurt in an ATV accident near Backus. First responders were called to the crash around 12:50 on Saturday afternoon on Bull Moose Trail in Bull Moose Township.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a 2017 Honda ATV driven by a 14-year-old girl left the trail and struck a tree. The teen was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital with serious injuries. A 9-year-old girl riding with the teenager was treated on the scene.
According to a press release, helmets were not worn by either child. The names of the injured and the teen’s current condition weren’t released.
