(KNSI) – The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the reckless use of a shotgun north of Pierz.
Officials say deputies and a Minnesota Department of Natural Resources conservation officer responded to a deer poaching complaint Wednesday and found a dead animal with a 12-gauge shotgun wound. They also recorded that several mailboxes, street signs, and electrical boxes had been hit.
The incidents happened Tuesday morning before 1:00 and Wednesday morning at around 4:00 in Platte and Pulaski Townships. Callers could only relay that the truck was older and very loud. The sheriff’s office is looking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
They encourage you to call 320-632-9233 with any information.
