(KNSI) – Authorities are investigating a crash involving a dirt bike that occurred in Two Rivers Township on Wednesday evening.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, regarding a two-vehicle collision on 450th Street, three miles southeast of Bowlus.
According to reports, a 15-year-old juvenile female from Rice was riding a dirt bike westbound on 450th Street when a passenger car traveling eastbound turned left into a driveway in her path. The dirt bike struck the car, throwing the rider into the windshield.
The girl was wearing a helmet at the time and was transported to St. Cloud Hospital with injuries of unknown severity. The car’s driver was not injured. The case remains under investigation.
