(KNSI) – Police are investigating the cause of a two-vehicle crash that occurred in St. Joseph on Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to the incident at 7:03 a.m. on May 20 on Highway 23. According to reports, Cynthia Lenzen, 70, of Waite Park, and Carol Bloch, 78, of Albany, were traveling southbound when their vehicles collided.

Lenzen was transported to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while Bloch was not injured. Investigators have ruled out alcohol as a contributing factor.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, the Rockville Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance. The case remains under investigation.
