
SAINT CLOUD (KNSI) —
The Rocori Spartans defeated the St. Cloud Apollo Eagles in high school boys basketball action on Friday night.
Jayden Philippi scored 12 first half points to help the Spartans build a 24 point half time lead. He finished with 18 points and was named the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.
The Spartans continued to build on their lead in the second half and came away with a 88-53 victory. Darien Lewis led the Eagles in scoring with 11 points.
With the win, Rocori improves to 3-8 while Apollo falls to 5-7.
