SAINT CLOUD (KNSI) —
The Melrose Dutchmen defeated the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders in boys high school basketball action on Tuesday night.
The undefeated Dutchman never trailed but the Crusaders stayed close trailing by 4 at half.
The Dutchman pulled away in the second half enroute to a 59-49 victory.
Mason Heidgerken led the way for the Dutchmen with 18 points. For his efforts, he was named the All-Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.
Sam Stolzenberg led the Crusaders in scoring with 17 points.
With the win, the Dutchmen fall to 9-0 while the Crusaders fall to 2-9.
