
SAINT CLOUD (KNSI) —
The Sauk Rapids Rice Storm defeated the Apollo Eagles 76-58 in high school girls basketball action on Friday night.
The Storm erased an 8 point half time deficit and outscored the Eagles 51-25 in the second half.
The Storm were led by Kyana Evans who had a game high 25 points. For her efforts, she was named the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.
Keshona McGaughy scored 16 points for the Eagles.
With the win, the Storm improve to 3-1 on the season while the Eagles fall to 0-3. The Storm’s next game is against Sartell on Tuesday while the Eagles battle Alexandria on Monday.
