(KNSI) — Officials say a man found trapped under a piece of machinery in Little Falls was an 82-year-old retired priest.
The body of Father Ralph Huar was found about 5:45 p.m. pinned under a backhoe. The street where he was found was being reconstructed at the time. It’s not clear if he was operating the backhoe or how he became trapped. Father Huar was pronounced dead at the scene.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
Father Huar was ordained in 1981 and served at parishes in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. He retired in 2014.
