Santa Paws Pet Photo Fundraiser Returns to Tri-County Humane Society in St. Cloud

(KNSI) – Tri-County Humane Society is bringing back its Santa Paws holiday portraits next week, and all of the profits go to the animals at the shelter.

This is the 41st year for Santa Paws, which is the St. Cloud animal shelter’s longest-running fundraiser. Volunteers donate their time and local businesses sponsor the event, so 100% of the profits go to the animals.

For $55, you get a five-minute session with a professional photographer on a decorated holiday set. This year’s theme is “Christmas Tree Farm,” and pets are welcome in the photos. You’ll go home with a flash drive holding five portraits, and you’re free to print and share them however you’d like.

Photos will be taken at the For Pets’ Sake Thrift store, right next to the shelter at 735 8th Street Northeast in St. Cloud. Sessions run from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12th, and Friday, November 13th, and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 14th.

The humane society asks people to book an appointment ahead of time at tricountyhumanesociety.org. Walk-ins are welcome, but there may be a wait.

This year’s sponsors are Country Gallery Photography, Kloster Collateral Resources and Motors in Motion.
