I-94 Eastbound Exit Ramp to Fenning Avenue Reopens in Monticello

(KNSI) – Drivers heading east on Interstate 94 through Monticello will have their exit to Fenning Avenue back starting tonight.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says crews will reopen the eastbound I-94 exit ramp to Wright County Road 18 (Fenning Avenue) overnight, September 30th into October 1st.

Eastbound drivers will also run into shifted lanes between Highway 25 and County Road 18 while crews finish work in the median.

Two lanes will stay open in each direction through early November. MnDOT is asking drivers to stay alert for lane shifts, occasional lane closures, reduced speeds and multiple crews in the work zone. Real-time travel displays are posted ahead of the construction area.

The project is on schedule, and MnDOT expects to open I-94 to three lanes in both directions by early November.
