(KNSI) – First responders revived three people who were found unconscious and not breathing at a St. Cloud home Thursday afternoon, according to police.

Officers, St. Cloud firefighters and Mayo Ambulance paramedics were called to a medical emergency in the 100 block of 5th Avenue Southeast at 12:23 p.m.

Police say people inside the house told officers that two women and a man had stopped breathing because of suspected fentanyl overdoses. Crews began life-saving measures, including giving Narcan, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses.

All three regained consciousness and were taken to CentraCare-St. Cloud Hospital for more treatment.

The incident drew a large police, fire and ambulance response. Police are using the case to remind the public about the extreme danger of using fentanyl and other street opioids.
