(KNSI) – Getting cars sparkly clean helped children in need during last month’s Crew Carwash fundraiser for Minnesota’s Gillette Children’s Hospital.
The car wash’s four locations in St. Cloud, Maple Grove, Wayzata and West St. Paul teamed up to raise $27,000. This happened during a special two-day event where Crew provided a free Ultimate Wash with any donation to the hospital.
The St. Paul-based facility serves patients suffering from brain, bone, and movement conditions that start in childhood.
The medical center was founded in 1897 as the nation’s first public hospital for children with disabilities. The event took place on April 12th and 13th.
