(KNSI) – It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No! It’s your child!

The fifth annual Mom Son Superhero Party is next month, and Leighton Media Promotions and Events Director Tara Traut says it’s such a rockin’ good time; your favorite caped crusader will be clearing buildings in a single bound. “It is just a fun, awesome day to spend with your little superhero. Make those lifelong memories and experiences. Also, just getting to meet and greet with the superheroes and all the activities that we have.”

Kids can get their picture taken with up to five different roving superheroes. Moms and their sons can enjoy the bounce house, balloon twister, face painting, make-it-and-take-it crafts, and pizza. Kids are encouraged to dress as their favorite masked hero.

Traut says to act fast or risk being caught in kryptonite instead of the festivities. “It does sell out every year. So if you’d like to attend, I highly recommend that you get your tickets before they fly away.”

The party is Saturday, February 3rd, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Sartell Community Center.
