(KNSI) — The Crow River Trail Guards Christmas Concert is still happening this Thursday despite scammers getting a hold of the online ticketing portal and wrecking it.

The concert by Grammy Award winning music group The Don Juans featuring Nashville artists Jon Vezner and Don Henry with Minnesota’s own Pat Frederick of the Daisy Dillman Band will be held December 7th. The show starts at 7:00 p.m. at Koronis Ministries near Paynesville on Lake Koronis.

The group had an online ticketing website, but it was hacked and had some issues. They say the show will go on. Tickets are $40 and are available at Voss Plumbing, The Paynesville Press, and at the door.

The Crow River Trail Guards is a private, nonprofit organization that connects kids to the outdoors and promotes personal awareness. It evolved from the State of Minnesota’s Clean the River program in the 1980s and 90’s. Volunteers cleared trails and built a stairway and footbridge with the trail system on the North Fork of the Crow River as it runs along the north side of town. Organizers said they needed a group to guard the trail against miscreants; thus, the Trail Guards were born.
