Public Gets Chance To Shape New Stearns County Parks Master Plan

(KNSI) – Stearns County Parks Department is crafting a new master plan and there’s an easy way for you to chime in with a suggestion.

An online interactive map shows each park and the current amenities available. You have the ability to add a new idea or to show that you are happy with an option that already exists. The map includes county parks and trails, as well as access points and parking. Everything from Fairhaven Mill Park to Lake Sylvia is included.

You can also leave a thumbs up showing that you like a current amenity such as an archery or disc golf course, campsites, hiking trails, or a picnic shelter. A link to have your say in what Stearns County parks look like for the next 10 to 20 years is here.
