(KNSI) — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota is teaming up with Crew Car Wash in St. Cloud this weekend for the Crew For Kids car wash.
Big Brothers Big Sisters Advancement Director Emily Steinmetz says the event will be a yearly tradition.
“We’re really excited this is the first of what will be an annual summer carwash fundraiser to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota.”
She says the BBBS will have people on hand to talk about how the program positively impacts the St. Cloud area.
“We’ll have Big Brothers Big Sisters staff there so you’ll be able to ask any kind of questions that you might have about the agency. We’ll also have a match there, we’ll have a big and a little there aswhile as a mentor and a mentee. And, we’ll have some of our scholarship recipients.”
From 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 23rd, 50% from each sale of the ultimate car wash will go to BBBS of Central Minnesota. The organization will use the money to support its mentoring program.
The two groups started their partnership in February when Crew Car Wash donated to BBBS after their grand opening celebration.
