(KNSI) – A man suffered severe injuries after crashing his paraglider in Kandiyohi County on Wednesday afternoon.
First responders were called to the intersection of 225th Avenue Southeast and 180th Street near Lake Lillian around 12:20 p.m. The sheriff’s office says a 59-year-old man from Minneapolis was preparing to ascend when the paraglider was affected by the wind causing it to crash.
He was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment. His current condition wasn’t released.
