(KNSI) – The mysterious disappearance of a TV Anchor who graduated from St. Cloud State University will be featured in an episode of ABC’s 20/20. The two-hour special on Jodi Huisentruit airs Friday at 8 p.m. Huisentruit was a 27-years-old when she vanished in the early morning hours of June 27th, 1995, before going to work as an anchorwoman in Mason City, Iowa.

According to a press release from ABC, the special explores new leads in the 26-year-old case. It includes exclusive, extensive access to the Mason City Police Department and the lead investigator on Huisentruit’s case.

It also features exclusive footage captured by “20/20” cameras as police investigated a new lead and new interviews with members of FindJodi, a team made up of journalists, a podcaster, and a former police commander dedicated to collecting and investigating new tips to try to find out what happened to Huisentruit.

The TV Anchor was born and grew up in Long Prairie, MN. She graduated from SCSU with a degree in mass communications in 1990. Today Jodi would be 53 years old.
