(KNSI) – If you live in Sartell or Sauk Rapids, you can dispose of your natural Christmas tree this weekend and support a good cause doing it.
According to the city’s website, the city of Sauk Rapids will open the compost site from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January eighth, and dispose of your Christmas tree for a canned good donation to their food drive.
In Sartell, the city website reports the compost site will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday with free tree drop off after a donation to Sartell’s food shelf.
