(KNSI) – A 31-year-old Richmond man was seriously injured in a fireworks mishap Wednesday night.
The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to Munson Township about 7:45. When crews from Mayo Ambulance, Chain of Lakes Fire Department, and the Cold Spring-Richmond Police Department arrived, they say Neal Schmitt had sustained extensive injuries to his hand after a firework had reportedly exploded in it.
