SAINT CLOUD (KNSI) —

The St. Cloud Apollo Eagles defeated the St. Cloud Tech Tigers 50-45 in boys basketball action on Tuesday night.

Tech erased a 12 point half time deficit and took the lead with 3 minutes left in the game.

Apollo played well in the closing minutes of the game and came away with a 5 point victory.

The Eagles were led by Jamari Abston who had 14 points and Thomas Diew who scored 11 points. For his efforts, Abston was named the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.

KT Norwood led the Tigers with 12 points.

With the win, the Eagles improve to 2-5 on the season while the Tigers fall to 0-5.
