(KNSI) – The Minnesota Department of Health reports 1,335 new COVID-19 cases today. There are also 16 newly reported deaths from COVID-19 across the state, including one person in Sherburne County and one person in Stearns County.
The St. Cloud area sees 80 new cases: Benton County seven, Morrison County one, Sherburne County 30, Stearns County 22 and Wright County 20.
Minnesota processed more than 47,000 tests yesterday, and only 2.8 percent of those tests were positive.
On the other side of the coin, vaccinations are coming along. As of Tuesday, 407,063 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered to Minnesotans. From that number, about 85,000 people have gotten two doses. Another 320,000 Minnesotans have received just one dose so far.
