(KNSI) – There is still time to register for the Catholic Charities St. Cloud annual Mardi Gras event this weekend.
Executive Director Steve Pareja says this year’s event is free to register and will be virtual. He says they’re excited to open it up to anyone anywhere.
“I have got childhood friends from my hometown of Indiana, who are going to participate your very first time. I’ve got family in Arizona who are going to be participating for the very first time. This is really going to be a fun event because people will get to see what we do in our community to help our community.”
The money raised for Mardi Gras will go toward the Catholic Charities’ Emergency Services, including the food shelf and Domus Transitional Housing for women with children.
The event starts at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23rd, with pre-event music from Fabulous Armadillos, Wheelhouse Trio, and Vista Jazz Club; registration is free. You can register by clicking here.
