(KNSI)- The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm defeated the St. Cloud Apollo Eagles in high school basketball action on Thursday night.
The Eagles led by 8 at halftime but a big second half from Ethan Opshal led the Storm to an overtime victory.
Opsahl finished with 37 points on the night. For his efforts, he was named the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.
Thomas Diew led the way for the Eagles scoring 18 points.
The Storm improve to 1-0 on the year. Their next game is on Tuesday against Willmar.
The Eagles fall to 0-1 on the season. Their next matchup is against Fergus Falls on Saturday.
