(KNSI) – The St. Cloud Area Planning Organization (APO) seeks community input as the agency develops its next metropolitan transportation plan.

Starting Monday, August 9th, the APO is asking the public to share their transportation stories. The agency wants to know what’s working, what needs improvement now and in the future.

Responses will help the APO develop a transportation vision for where the St. Cloud area should be headed by 2050. This vision will then guide the development of a regional, long-range, multimodal surface transportation plan.

The transportation system is meant to facilitate economic development and support a good quality of life for the region’s residents by transporting them safely and quickly to work, school, recreation, and other locations required to meet their daily needs.
