UPDATE: 10:40 (KNSI) – An injury crash has caused traffic on Interstate 94 to come to a halt near Freeport.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the two-vehicle crash happened at 9:17 on eastbound I94 near Exit 140.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says an accident caused both eastbound and westbound lanes to close Wednesday morning.
Officials don’t expect the Interstate to open until around 1:30 p.m.
A detour has been set up.
The state patrol is also investigating a fatal crash involving four vehicles at mile marker 144 near Albany.
The accident was reported at 8:06 Wednesday morning in the eastbound lanes.

(KNSI) – A crash has caused eastbound traffic on Interstate 94 to close near Freeport.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the accident happened around 9:15 on Wednesday morning.
A detour has been set up.
Exit the interstate and follow I-94 alternate route signs.
The interstate is expected to be closed until Wednesday afternoon.
