(KNSI) – The City of St. Cloud says the splash pads will open for the season on May 13th.
Splash pads are open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday thru Sunday. When school is in session, the Westwood Park Splash Pad will be open from 3:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. On Wednesdays, when Summertime By George is held, the Lake George Splash Pad will close at 5:00 p.m.
The city says they have a COVID-19 preparedness plan in place, promoting social distancing with signage to remind visitors to keep their distance from one another. Facilities are not sanitized, and community members are using them at their own risk. The public restrooms at the splash pads will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and cleaned and sanitized every morning and periodically as necessary.
Wading pools are still closed until further notice to comply with Minnesota Governor’s Executive Orders.
