(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Fire Marshal’s Office says an unattended burning candle caused a fire Monday night that displaced residents of 12 apartment units in St. Cloud.
According to a critical incident report, crews responded at 10:31 p.m. to 909 5th Avenue South for a reported fire inside an apartment and arrived to find heavy fire showing from a bedroom window and thick smoke throughout the building. Firefighters contained the flames to the unit where the blaze started. A search confirmed everyone got out safely.
No one was hurt.
