MNbenefits Case Status Tracker Shows How To Check an Application Online

(KNSI) – Stearns County residents waiting on assistance applications can now check their status online, using a tracker launched by the state.

Stearns County Human Services says the MNbenefits Case Status Tracker provides real-time updates so applicants know where their case stands in the review process. Through the tracker, applicants can securely monitor ongoing or submitted applications for programs including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP/food support), Cash Benefits, Child Care Assistance, and Emergency Assistance.

Officials say the online self-service platform aims to reduce uncertainty and eliminate the need for residents to call county offices for routine updates.

“We are glad to see the state roll out this self-service solution,” said Human Services Supervisor Jannell Boeckermann. “Navigating public assistance can feel overwhelming, but this tool gives Stearns County families clear insight into their application status directly from their mobile devices or computers, letting them know if the state system requires additional documentation to finalize their benefits.”

The state-managed portal is accessible through the MNbenefits Status Page by clicking here.

To protect private data, the primary applicant must verify their identity by signing in with a LoginMN account, or by using Quick Guest Access with the household’s Case Number, Legal Last Name, and Date of Birth.
