(KNSI) – The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office responded to a bike-car collision involving two people in their eighties on Thursday afternoon in Cold Spring.
The accident happened at the intersection of County Road 50 and 245th Street just after 2:15. An 89-year-old man was behind the wheel of a Chevy Malibu sedan, and when he turned onto 245th Street, he struck a bicyclist. The 83-year-old fell to the ground and suffered minor injuries.
Responding to the crash were the Cold Spring Police Department, Cold Spring Fire, and Mayo Ambulance.
