17-Year-Old Airlifted After Morrison County ATV Crash

(KNSI) – A 17-year-old was airlifted to a Twin Cities hospital after an ATV accident in Morrison County.

The sheriff’s office reported the crash occurred on Saturday evening, around 7:00 p.m., along Grouse Road, about four miles north of Little Falls in Green Prairie Township. The teenager was driving south in the roadside ditch when he lost control of the ATV, causing it to roll over.

He was thrown from the ATV, and the machine came to rest on top of him. The teen was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Emergency responders transported him by Mayo Ambulance to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls. He was then flown by helicopter to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. The extent of his injuries wasn’t released.
