(KNSI) – Construction crews will be shutting down Lincoln Avenue north of Highway 23 beginning next Thursday.
The City of St. Cloud says the long-running construction project, which has snarled traffic south of 23 for months now, will transition to the stretch between the highway and East St. Germain Street. A detour will be in place and access to businesses is still possible, including Target.
Until then, crews are completing utility work and resurfacing down to 7th Street Southeast. The overall project won’t be finished in full until October.
Officials are reminding drivers that as long as they are in an active work area, they should expect to find uneven or rough road conditions.
