(KNSI) – The Beaver Island Trail from 27th Avenue East to 74th Street South is closed.
27th Avenue East is in Clearwater near the RV Park and Sportsman Park. That represents the eastern trailhead for the path. 74th Street South is a small strip of pavement near Anderson Trucking. The entire work zone is just off County Road 75.
Officials hope the shutdown for the stretch will only last until Thursday. Running or biking is not allowed on the trail while the seal coating is drying.
