(KNSI) – A heating system malfunction at the Benton-Stearns Education Center is shifting two programs to e-learning for the rest of the week.
Program Supervisor Abby Lyon emails that the change for Voyagers and New Frontiers will take effect on Wednesday. They are both based out of a building on 3rd Avenue South in Sauk Rapids.
Voyagers and New Frontiers both serve special education students. New Frontiers is for young adults between 18 and 21 years old. It helps those with mild to moderate disabilities transition to independent living.
