(KNSI)—The District 742 School Board will hear from Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Instruction Jason Harris and Apollo High School Activities Director Karl Heine about expanding the Crush co-op golf teams.

They propose adding three to five student-athletes from the St. Cloud Christian School to the team rosters at Wednesday’s meeting. The St. Cloud Christian School does not offer golf as a varsity sport.

Heine emails KNSI News, writing that both the girls’ and boys’ Crush golf teams have existed for years, but if schools are added or subtracted from the co-op, officials need to have the school board okay it.

The Crush girls finished in seventh place in Section 8AAA last spring. The boys took sixth in the Central Lakes Conference Championship.
