(KNSI) – An elderly woman was killed after getting struck by a van in Wright County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, just before 3:00 on Thursday afternoon, Barbara Jean Hoppe was crossing Highway 12 in Howard Lake when an eastbound van hit her. The Howard Lake woman was rushed to Hennepin County Medical Center, where she died.
The 46-year-old driver of the van wasn’t hurt.
