(KNSI) – The discovery of a dead body in a nature area near St. Cloud Tech High School caused the campus to close on Monday morning.
Firefighters were called around 11:00 a.m. for a small grass fire in the nature area next to the school. After it was put out, they discovered the body. Police say there is no known threat to the public. Officers say the case is active and under investigation.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the State Fire Marshall’s Office are assisting in the case.
