(KNSI) – The calendar for May at the Paramount Theater downtown St. Cloud is already filling up with some can’t miss events.

On the 4th, Fleetwood Mac fans will not want to skip Rumours and Dreams – A Fleetwood Mac Tribute Presented by Pamela McNeill. The Minneapolis Star Tribune says her style is so polished and well presented that she could stand in for Stevie Nicks. She is teaming up with Minnesota Music Hall of Famer Mary Jane Alm, who will take Christine McVie’s vocals and toss in the very talented Jeff Engholm, who will stand in the Lindsey Buckingham. Think of any Fleetwood Mac song you’ve heard, and chances are, they’re going to play it.

The St. Cloud Municipal Band’s annual spring concert is on May 6th. The show this time around is called Dance, and the group will explore different eras and styles and a variety of dance music. The traditional marches and melodies will also be mixed in. Showtime is 7:00 p.m. Tickets start at $15. Get yours here.

Central Minnesota’s creative community youth will present the Boys & Girls Club of Central Minnesota’s 2024 Spring Showcase on May 9th. The students have been working hard to showcase their skills in dance, visual arts, fashion, and textiles. At 5:30 that evening, the art exhibition opens, and the showcase starts at 6:30. The show is free, but the Youth Exhibit and Fundraiser will be in the Historic Lobby throughout the month of May.

Celebrate all that is neon lycra spandex with high flying aerial acrobatics and explore a coming of age story set in the MTV era with Neon Generation. “Through breathtaking aerial routines and soul-stirring moments of vulnerability, the play explores themes of self-acceptance, resilience, and the triumph of embracing one’s unique identity, even in the face of adversity.” The shows are May 17th and 18th. Tickets start at $22. Get yours by clicking here.

May 24th is the album release party for Long Way Home. Singer/songwriter Michael Shynes and renowned musician and performer Tommy Vee come together to revive authentic guitar-driven music. Tommy’s son Bennett Vee, a standout in his own right, will also join the band, along with a smattering of familiar faces and voices from some of the best musicians around. Tickets start at $30. Showtime is 7:30. Learn more and get tickets here.
