(KNSI) – Some of the area’s best singers will belt it out on Sunday for a great cause.
Central Minnesota Idol is one of the largest fundraisers of the year for the area youth chorale. The 5th edition will feture performances from Stacy Bauer, James Calacsan, Paul ‘Stretch’ Diethelm, and Ted Manderfeld. They’ll be backed by the organization’s house band “Radio Nation.” Chorale high school ensembles will also contribute to the acts.
To vote for your favorite, you have to do it through donations. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Paramount Center for the Arts in downtown St. Cloud.
The Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota brings together the best singers in the region, ages 10 through 18. Members come from 31 communities to blend their voices into a professional performance that can help influence them well into adulthood.
Tickets cost $35 for adults and $15 for students, plus processing fees. A link to buy yours is here.
