(KNSI) — Comedian Nate Bargatze is bringing his The Be Funny Tour to the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand.

The show is Saturday, August 24th, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets start at $77 and go up to $197, not including fair admission or parking. Or food.

Bargatze is the second act announced for the 2024 Great Minnesota Get Together. KIDZ BOP LIVE is set for Monday, September 2nd at 3:00 p.m.

His comedy is clean and relatable, and Bargatze is hailed as “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up” by The Atlantic Magazine. He was also called a “Rising Star” by “CBS Mornings” and sells out shows worldwide.

A native of Old Hickory, Tenn., Bargatze followed in the showbiz footsteps of his father, a clown turned world-class magician, whose influence is seen on his 2015 debut Comedy Central special, “Full Time Magic,” and his debut album, “Yelled at By a Clown,” which reached No. 1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and remained on Billboard’s Top 10 Comedy Charts for weeks. With two Netflix specials under his belt, he released his “Greatest Average American” special, which was nominated for a Grammy in the Best Comedy Album category.

Bargatze was part of Jimmy Fallon’s Clean-Cut Comedy Tour and has performed live shows for the troops in Iraq and Kuwait. In addition to touring the country as a headliner, he toured arenas with Chris Rock on his 2017 Total Blackout Tour and performed at SXSW, Oddball Comedy Festival, Sasquatch, Clusterfest and the JFL Montreal Comedy Festival.
