Officials say 36-year-old Said Mohamed of Pelican Rapids was driving a Honda Accord west on I-94 in Oak Township just east of Freeport a little before 7:00 when he collided with a Chevy Silverado pickup truck, also westbound on 94, driven by a 23-year-old man from Albany. Mohamed died in the crash, along with his 69-year-old passenger, Abdalla Gudad of Grand Island, Nebraska. Another passenger in Mohamed’s car, 48-year-old Adan Hosh, also of Pelican Rapids, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
