(KNSI) — The Coborn Healing Center is celebrating its fifth anniversary next month with an open house.

The center serves cancer patients and their families as they recover from treatment.

The healing center offers acupuncture, art therapy, Cancer: Thriving & Surviving series, caregivers retreat, dietitian classes, emotional support, enhancement programs, healing touch/reiki, massage, music therapy, spiritual wellness, social events, support groups and yoga.

The celebration is from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on August 16th, and the facility will be open to the public for tours and to learn more.

The center held a ribbon-cutting ceremony when it opened on August 2nd, 2018. Just last year, 726 cancer patients made 2,805 visits.
