(KNSI) – Foley police officers helped teach youngsters how to ride on two wheels during the department’s 9th annual Bicycle Safety Rodeo.
Organizers say 146 kids participated in the event, and 38 got a new bike. Other cool prizes were also given away, and participants were treated to a picnic.
The Foley Public Works Department loaded all the bicycles onto a trailer to bring to the event and cleaned up after all the fun was over.
The event was held as part of June’s Foley Fun Days.
