(KNSI) – A central Minnesota congressman is again holding mobile office meetings to help residents of the 6th District with their problems.
Tom Emmer’s staff recently started hosting the events from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at St. Cloud City Hall. According to Emmer’s office, a case worker will be stationed in the conference room to help people cut through red tape when dealing with federal offices. The staff has helped people with issues connected to Social Security, Veterans Affairs and passports.
Any constituent who feels they haven’t received a response from a federal agency in a timely manner or feel they’ve been treated unfairly can contact the mobile office. Staff remind everyone they can’t guarantee a favorable outcome but promise to do their best to help.
This spring is the first time the mobile office hours have been kept since the onset of the pandemic.
