(KNSI) – Terebinth Refuge will hold its fourth Stronger Together event Monday evening. It is meant specifically for women and girls and will take place at the Park Event Center on Division Street in Waite Park.
Shelter Executive Director/Founder CeCe Terlouw-Kvistad says there is plenty of fun planned but the heart of the event is spreading the good work done by staff.
“Experts at Terebinth Refuge will be talking about the aspect of soul and spirit healing. There’ll be opportunities for people to learn to also question the panel and ask them you know things they might be wondering about.”
Terlouw-Kvistad says the shelter features a holistic approach to healing women affected by domestic violence and sex trafficking.
It is tailored specifically to women and girls, says Terlouw-Kvistad.
“It’s a really beautiful evening from 5:00 to 7:00. It’s a vendor event, so we have a lot of local artisans [and] crafters that will be selling their different wares and there’ll be some lovely snacks and things to eat.”
The event is free but registration is strongly suggested. A link to do so is here.
