(KNSI) – The tenth annual Handshakes With Heroes event is coming up later this month, connecting kids, community and first responders.
It is a free, family-friendly event with vehicle displays and hands-on activities at the Benton County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, August 18th. From 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., kids and parents alike can meet first responders, police officers and firefighters, share some food and meet the people in the neighborhood who keep us safe.
Handshakes with Heroes is free and open to the public.
